NANNY INFORMATION
We welcome local caregivers to apply directly to our Caregiver Agency. We are the premiere agency for York Region in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada). We are looking for professional nannies with backgrounds such as teaching, early childhood education, nursing, midwifery, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
Please review the criteria for the Live-In Caregiver Program, as the Canadian Government has strict regulations on the qualification of the caregivers in this program.
Keep in mind that your application will not be activated until the screening process is complete and we have reviewed all your documents and reference checks.
Please fill out the nanny registration form neatly and all the questions are answered in detail.
Remember this package is what your potential employer is basing the majority of their decision on. Be as honest in your answers and creative in expressing who you are as a person. Make sure you outline why you believe you are the best choice for your employer.
- Answer the questionnaire below with as much detail as possible.
- Include at least 2 pictures of yourself. Keep in mind the perspective employers like to see pictures of you interacting with children or the elderly. Remember the saying: pictures are worth 1000 words.
- Provide a photocopy of proof of your education.
- Include a letter of reference from a previous employer, friend or priest if possible.
- Write a letter to your perspective future employer - giving insight into your experience, goals, accomplishments, and hobbies.
Please note: there are no fees to caregivers that are living and working in Canada.
